Birch House is an elegant four bedroom, two bathroom holiday home with extensive indoor and outdoor living space.  The property was the Managing Directors family home for a number of years, they remodelled the property adding the large open plan living space with two sets of bi-folding doors leading out onto the South facing garden (for a fantastic indoor outdoor flow) and the master bedroom in the loft conversion with three super roof windows opening up to views over the surrounding countryside.
The courtyard to the side of the property is West facing making the most of the afternoon and evening sun and the hot tub is a new addition for guests to relax and enjoy during their stay.  Other special little additions include low level motion sensor lighting in the hallway, staircases and landings, a ‘Little Butler’ hot tap which provides instant filtered hot water for beverages, a wood burning stove and an air source heat pump providing additional heat in the large open plan living space or cool air on those hot Summer days.

The property has off street parking for three cars, additional parking is available on street.

Birch Tree Retreat at Birch House is a cosy country escape holiday home in North Yorkshire, the property was built by our Managing Director in 2016 and was the start of the UK Holiday Home journey which has led to the launch of 'York Unique Holiday Homes'.
It  has been a popular little bolt hole seeing many guests returning for multiple stays.  The property has an open plan living area incorporating a dining area, kitchen with a double ring hob, fan oven and grill and fridge/freezer. The sofa doubles as a bed suitable for one adult or two smaller children. A cool, calming grey and white theme flows throughout, with homely country touches. There is a cosy double bedroom, shower room with a walk in shower, heated towel rail, vanity unit, toilet and freestanding unit. If you are driving, there is a designated space for your car.

There are direct links to York city centre with a bus stop on the road in front of the properties, catch a bus in the opposite direction to the market town of Easingwold with charming Cafe's, independent food, gift and interior shops.  The coastal towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Cayton Bay are approximately an hours drive away.  Castle Howard is a short car journey away, so this would be ideal holiday apartment to stay in if you're attending one of the many events held there.  With bars, pubs, restaurants, museums, walking and cycling routes, historical landmarks, and even bowling and a cinema, there is plenty to do nearby for all ages and interests.
